Really useful!

I have been learning Japanese via Duolingo, but a lot of useful phrases are missed there. This course fills those gaps with useful words and phrases and it also explains how Japanese people think and talk, which is really useful. Highly recommended!

Great for beginners - entertaining and useful!

I just finished this course and enjoyed it SO MUCH as a complete beginner! I had used the Owl App before, but this course really helped me understand some concepts and made me more interested in learning Japanese for real. The structure is super helpful, with clear explanations, roleplays, and quizzes that let you learn and practice in different ways. Since English is my second language, learning another language in English can be tricky, but Tyson's personal touch and teaching style made the course easy and enjoyable. I finished the entire course in 2 weeks (so the title is accurate)! Fantastic course! ありがとう! (人´∀`)

so far it's mostly things I know but It's just the start of the course, and it's nice to get the perspective of a Japanese local for it Edit: This is great after finishing 3/4 of the course I did enjoy it greatly including Ryusei-san roleplay

This course is useful specially when we travel to Japan and want to communicate by ourselves with the staffs in different occasions.

Yes this was exactly what I was looking for. Useful travel phrases with clear explanations and no time spent on grammar or kanji.

Having learned a bit of Japanese already this course feels just right. I do wish he would explain the translations a little more since I know some of them are a bit inaccurate. Also, he ask "repeat after me" but leaves no time for a reply, I get that we could use the stop button but it makes the lesson feel rushed.

It's still early to tell I'm on my second greetings video most of the vocabulary are things I know but I'm sure when I get into the "meat" of the course I will enjoy it very much. I've been following Ryusei for some time on instagram and I enjoy his humor and off the cuff approach on casual conversation. This is my first course I've done so I'm trying to manage my expectations.

Very clearly explained and information and instructions repeated at different speeds . Also lots of content covering different scenarios and useful vocabulary. This has been an extremely useful course which I have downloaded to take on our trip to Japan and I have repeated the lessons several times. Highly recommend this course.

I'm getting ready for a trip in Japan, and this kind of course is perfect for a beginner like me! Also, Ryusei is the best teacher I have ever studied with: he is always clear and precise in his explanations, and the topics treated follow a progression that facilitates learning.

Ryusei Sensei does a great job of explaining useful Japanese phrases that sound really natural. This was also helpful for learning how to write hiragana! A very useful and fun beginners course!
